What inspired the creation of VOLTA?

Many problems plague our communities, from poverty and education to healthcare. I saw friends from my childhood get pregnant, marry early, and use drugs without understanding the effects. This sparked my resolve to start VOLTA. VOLTA is a group of young, driven adults aiming to make a difference in society through education. We focus on offering mentorship and skill development to teenagers and adults.

Education is crucial as it greatly influences our lives. We visit different schools and organize events to raise awareness on topics like reproductive health, diseases, and mental health. We believe everyone should have access to this information, which will empower them to take control of their health and make informed decisions.

At VOLTA, we find satisfaction in educating teenagers because it contributes to our community’s growth.
